Texturing in progress...

Zbrushing this weekend.

I have been doing a lot of work with Zbrush recently. I'm still learning a lot, but I'm getting more used to the tools. I modelled this head from ZSpheres, exported it to maya along with displacement maps for rendering. I'm working on the texturing at the moment... will post an update when it's ready.

First Post! (Several Projects on the go)

Hey! I'm currently working on a bunch of personal projects. They're all in the early stages, but I have some sketches/renders/etc. of the work in progress. Comments and Criticism (I love criticism... harsh criticism) appreciated.


Minotaur/Bull character in armour. There will eventually be a large army of grazers (gazelle, goats, bison, etc.) behind him. The hair you see in the render is a stand in. I'll post my solution to that shortly (Animated maya fur).


Out of work secret agent. Initially created for CGSociety's current challenge. Doesn't look like it's going to get done... I still want to do an animated clip of this character and his environment. I'm going to be using Maya ncloth for the clothes. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with his hair right now... Maya fast skin SSS used for the skin (haven't plugged the maps in yet)


Refinery City. A Refinery city above the clouds. I have an idea for a huge oil tanker to fly in like the Star Destroyer at the beginning of Star Wars Episode IV
